| In theFine Gunmaking section of the March/April 2003 edition of Shooting Sportsman, contributing-editor Steven Dodd Hughes discusses Custom American Shotguns:
"The Barry Lee Hands-engraved Parker action pictured is not an upgrade, although the gun was a 12-gauge VH Grade. Hands took on the project for himself, polishing and stocking the gun to fit. He did all of the work except the checkering. The sporting scene is after an A.B. Frost etching - and an evocative one, at that. The scroll is his version of small English, with more backgrounding and shading than most British work. I find the layout and execution to be very attractive and think the American hunting vignette is perfect for a Parker."
We agree with Mr. Hughes, and are proud to have this beautiful gun on display.
